It All Started With a Dream

Surfing brings people together all over the world, but as the surf industry grew, it took a toll on our planet. Traditional surfboards are made with toxic foam and resin, filling landfills with non-biodegradable waste. So, what can we do about it?

For our founder, the answer came in a dream. He imagined surfing on a transparent board, made from a live beehive, where he could see both the water and the honeycomb inside. This vision sparked the creation of something new: the world’s most eco-friendly, high-performance surfboard.

Our boards are made from sustainably sourced balsa and paulownia wood, plant-based resins, fiberglass, and air. They perform just as well—if not better—than foam boards, and we’ve even earned the Gold Seal certification from Sustainable Surf for our commitment to the planet.

Investing in the Future

At raggamuffin®, we believe in investing in the next generation. That’s why we donate a portion of our proceeds to our nonprofit, Inter-United, which focuses on conservation education for young people worldwide. We’re planting the seeds for a future where kids are inspired to protect the environment.
